Bio

Charles B. Dumas has extensive experience as counsel in commercial and residential real estate transactions and development, including land use and planning, title examination, construction law, finance, leasing, and management. He is an Examining Counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company. As a United States Small Business Administration Designated Closing Attorney, he regularly closes SBA-related financings involving startup and growing businesses throughout Upstate New York which are targeted to foster small business growth. He also represents a variety of Capital District businesses in many aspects of their operations, including corporate governance and organization, employee relations, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Dumas was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1982.  He is active in community affairs and serves several Capital District not-for-profit organizations in various leadership capacities.
