Ms. Romeo brings to her practice a background in general litigation and experience in both the not-for-profit fundraising field and the automotive industry. She has aided clients with all aspects of project development from inception through completion including ensuring compliance with environmental review requirements such as SEQRA, and applying for necessary governmental approvals. She has also assisted clients with various aspects of their day-to-day business needs including: (1) formation of new business entities; (2) drafting and reviewing a variety of contracts; and (3) negotiating settlement agreements in lieu of litigation. She has practiced various stages of litigation and arbitration in regard to a wide array of issues, specializing in products liability.
Most recently, Ms. Romeo has been involved in three major Capital Region development projects: the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Water Park, New York State’s first indoor Waterpark; the Luther Forest Technology Campus; and the proposed development of the Corinth Mills Industrial Park at the former International Paper site in Corinth.
Ms. Romeo is admitted to practice in New York, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Saratoga County Bar Association.
Prior to her career as an attorney, Ms. Romeo was a fundraising consultant specializing in not-for-profit religious institutions with Community Counseling Service, Inc. of Boston, Massachusetts.
