Lynn E. Schwartz concentrates her practice in the area of U.S. business immigration law, representing companies seeking to acquire temporary work permits or permanent resident status for their personnel. She has secured temporary visas for aliens of extraordinary ability, as well as investors, multinational managers/executives, workers with specialized knowledge, and those in specialty occupations.
In addition, Ms. Schwartz has also assisted clients with all aspects of business and corporate law, including the formation of new business entities and preparation of related documents, and all other day-to-day business needs. She has helped clients secure 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status as well as guided them through registration with the Attorney General’s Office at the state level.
Prior to relocating to Upstate New York, Ms. Schwartz practiced in Manhattan in general commercial litigation, and in the Corporate Legal Department of a Fortune 500 company. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of New Jersey, and she is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Prior to her career as an attorney, Ms. Schwartz was an oncology social worker, providing counseling and discharge planning services to cancer patients at New York's Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.
