Robert A. Lippman has over 18 years of experience representing clients in connection with a wide range of general business matters. Roughly half of his practice is litigation-focused, and the other half of his practice is focused on working with small businesses and entrepreneurs to help them achieve their business goals.
Mr. Lippman has developed concentrations in contract law, labor law, real estate, business entity formation, trade secret protection, copyright and trademark. He has particular experience in computer program copyrights, licensing, negotiation and litigation of distribution and service contracts and related intellectual property matters. He has conducted numerous arbitration and mediation proceedings pursuant to the American Arbitration Association and International Center for Dispute Resolution Rules.
Mr. Lippman is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the New York State Supreme Court, and the New York State Appellate Division. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Trial Lawyers Section and Intellectual Property Section), the American Bar Association (Intellectual Property Law and Labor and Employment Law sections), and the National Order of Barristers.
