Bio

Theresa M. Gibbons joined Lemery Greisler, LLC in 2011 after 20 years of private practice in U.S. Immigration law and related corporate matters. Ms. Gibbons is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada.

Her practice is concentrated in the area of U.S. Immigration with particular expertise in U.S.-Canada issues and business immigration. Ms. Gibbons also handles corporate structure matters related to immigration.

Selected Accomplishments: Ms. Gibbons has enjoyed numerous successful immigration cases for multinational managers, international investors, aliens of extraordinary ability, and other professionals. Her recent work includes temporary visas, permanent residence applications, and NYS licensing for hospitals, physicians, and other medical professionals. She has also Obtained O and P visas for entertainment professionals and support staff for major shows and North American tours. Additionally, Ms. Gibbons offers special expertise in border representation for NAFTA-based L-1 and TN visas at the U.S.-Canada border

Ms. Gibbons is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is fluent in Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Ms. Gibbons is admitted to practice in New York and Vermont. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the northern district of New York.
